Pre-Order

With Pre-Order, you can purchase the latest items added to our store in advance of them arriving with us.

Your Pre-Order is prioritised (at no additional charge); meaning that as soon as the product arrives with us, we can wrap it straight back up; ready for collection via Click & Collect or despatch to you — it often never even hits the stock room shelves!

Pre-Launch

With Pre-Launch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Pre-Orders.

So, instead, you can submit your email address against the item you are interested in and we will email you as soon as stock arrives on the system.

Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates

Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates are given on Pre-Order and Pre-Launch products. They are for indication purposes only and can change at any time without notice.

The dates we provide are based on indications given by our suppliers. Whenever we get updated information from our suppliers we will endeavour to update the Estimated Delivery & Collection Dates provided on product pages.

In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase or you have received a faulty item, please review our returns policy below:

REFUNDS
Refunds are processed via the original payment method used for your purchase and refunds can only be processed to the card originally used for the transaction. Please allow up to 14 days for the monies to be visible in your account, this is due to bank clearance policies. Cheques are not accepted as a method of payment or for refunds.

STORE PURCHASES
We are happy to refund your item within 7 days for a full refund, or 14 days for a credit note. Proof of purchase is required, i.e. a receipt and items are to be unopened and unused (unless faulty). Kindly note we are unable to refund customised, special and bicycle orders.

WEB ORDER RETURNS
All customers are to email info@essexbicycles.com for all returns and queries prior to posting. Returns will not be accepted unless you have received an email confirmation from Essex Bicycles.

We are able to accept refunds for items within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or credit note. Proof of purchase is required and all items are to be unopened and unused (unless faulty) and returned in its original condition and packaging.

All web order purchases are to be returned to our store address unless arranged otherwise and the customer is responsible for all postage costs and for packaging the item safely and securely. Customers are to email info@essexbicycles with the order number and date of purchase before being returned to Essex Bicycles. This is required in order to process all refunds efficiently and without further delays.

The ultimate aero frameset from Merida's Reacto V range, engineered for the demands of the modern road. The Reacto One delivers wind-tunnel aerodynamics, sub-kilo frame weight and the potential to reach 196 watts, all without compromising comfort or control. Built around Merida's most advanced CF5 carbon layup, every gram has been purposefully engineered at 950g for the frame, 475g for the fork, and 106g for the redesigned seatpost. When fully built, the Reacto frameset has the potential to reach 196 watts, putting it within striking distance of the very fastest aero bikes on the market and making it the ideal foundation for a performance build tailored entirely to you.

The thrill of speed is what unites road cyclists. Whether professional or amateur, the fundamental goal is to push harder, chase speed and break free. Nothing embodies this better than the Reacto. The latest generation of the Reacto frameset builds on the previous model, with fundamental changes that further improve its aerodynamics, reduce its weight and offer tyre clearance up to 32mm, all while maintaining the comfort and control the Reacto is known for. A redesigned fork with deeper, thinner legs reduces air drag at the tyre intersection, while a repositioned downtube improves airflow and cuts weight. Up front, the new frame accommodates 1½" upper and lower bearings, a change made possible by the more aerodynamic design, delivering precision steering without adding drag. A new zero-offset seatpost, 100g lighter than before, positions the rider more effectively over the bottom bracket while retaining the horizontal deflection. Whatever your focus, whether low drag, low weight, or all-round performance, the Reacto frameset gives you everything you need to build your perfect ride.
